Narrated Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, grants respite to the wrongdoer (loosens his rein so that he may commit much wickedness and become deserving of punishment); then, when He seizes him, He does not let him go." After that, he (peace be upon him) recited this verse: "Such is the seizing of your Lord when He seizes the townships while they are doing wrong — that is, those townships that commit injustice. Indeed, His seizing is painful and severe." (Hud: 102).
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بیشک اللہ عزوجل ظالم کو مہلت دیتا ہے (اس کی باگ ڈھیلی کرتا ہے تاکہ خوب شرارت کر لے اور عذاب کا مستحق ہو جائے)، پھر جب پکڑتا ہے تو اس کو نہیں چھوڑتا۔ اس کے بعد آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ آیت پڑھی کہ”تیرا رب اسی طرح پکڑتا ہے جب بستیوں کو پکڑتا ہے یعنی ان بستیوں کو جو ظلم کرتی ہیں بیشک اس کی پکڑ سخت دکھ والی ہے“(ھود: 102)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1831]
