Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: My father was martyred on the Day of Uhud, and I would lift the cloth from his face and weep. The people were forbidding me, while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did not forbid me. And the daughter of Amr, Fatima (that is, my paternal aunt), was also weeping over him. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whether you weep or do not weep, the angels were shading him with their wings until you lifted him.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیرا باپ احد کے دن شہید ہوا تو میں اس کے منہ سے کپڑا اٹھاتا تھا اور روتا تھا۔ لوگ مجھے منع کرتے تھے اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممنع نہ کرتے تھے۔ اور عمرو کی بیٹی فاطمہ (یعنی میری پھوپھی) وہ بھی اس پر رو رہی تھی۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تو روئے یا نہ روئے، تمہارے اسے اٹھانے تک فرشتے اس پر اپنے پروں کا سایہ کئے ہوئے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1697]
