Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "One night I saw, in the manner of a sleeper (in a dream), as though we were in the house of Uqbah ibn Rafi, and fresh dates were brought before us which are called the dates of Ibn Tab. I interpreted it thus: that our rank in the world will be exalted, that our end in the Hereafter will be good, and that surely our religion is the better and the excellent one."

سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: میں نے ایک رات کو نیند کی حالت میں دیکھنے والے کی طرح (خواب) دیکھا کہ جیسے ہم عقبہ بن رافع کے گھر میں ہیں، پس ہمارے آگے تر کھجوریں لائی گئیں، جس کو ابن طاب کی کھجور کا نام دیا جاتا ہے۔ میں نے اس کی تعبیر یہ کی کہ ہمارا درجہ دنیا میں بلند ہو گا، آخرت میں نیک انجام ہو گا اور یقیناً ہمارا دین بہتر اور عمدہ ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1512]
