Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A man committed a sin and said: 'O Lord, I have sinned — forgive me.' His Lord said: 'My servant has committed a sin and knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for them. I have forgiven My servant.' He sinned again and said the same, and Allah said the same. He sinned a third time and said the same. Allah said: 'My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for them — I have forgiven My servant. Let him do whatever he wishes.'"
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تجھے میرے پاس آنے کی اجازت اس طرح ہے کہ پردہ اٹھایا جائے اور تو میری گفتگو بھی سن سکتا ہے۔ جب تک میں تجھے روک نہ دوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1422]
