Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "We would soak nabidh for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in a water skin that we would tie at the top, and it had a small opening. We would soak it in the morning and he would drink it at night, or soak it at night and he would drink it in the morning."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہہم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے لئے ایک مشک میں نبیذ بھگوتے اور گانٹھ لگا دیتے۔ اس میں سوراخ تھا۔ صبح کو ہم بھگوتے اور رات کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپیتے اور رات کو بھگوتے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمصبح کو پیتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1277]
