Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "War is stratagem and ruse." (That is, for one's own protection and to harm the enemy, it is permissible to use stratagem and deception.) [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1128]

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: لڑائی مکر اور حیلہ ہے۔ (یعنی اپنے بچاؤ اور دشمن کو نقصان پہنچانے کے لئے حیلہ اور مکروفریب کرنا جائز ہے)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1128]
