حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَكُنْتَ تُجَالِسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ كَثِيرًا كَانَ لاَ يَقُومُ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ الصُّبْحَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَتْ قَامَ وَكَانُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ فَيَأْخُذُونَ فِي أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَيَضْحَكُونَ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Simak b. Harb reported that I said to Jabir b. Samura: Did you have the privilege of sitting in the company of Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? He said: Yes, very frequently, and added: He did not stand up (and go) from the place where he offered the dawn prayer until the sun rose, and after the rising of the sun he stood up, and they (his Companions) entered into conversation with one another and they talked of the things (that they did during the Days of Ignorance), and they laughed (on their unreasonable and ridiculous acts). Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) smiled only
الترجمة الأردية
سماک بن حرب سے روایت ہے ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا : کیا آپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی مجلس میں شرکت کرتے تھے؟انھوں نے کہا : ہاں ، بہت شرکت کی ، آپ جس جگہ پر صبح کی نماز پڑھتے تھے تو سورج نکلنے سے پہلے وہاں نہیں اٹھتے تھے ۔ جب سورج نکل آیا تو آپ وہاں سے اٹھتے ، صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین جاہلیت کے ( کسی نہ کسی ) معاملے کو لیتے اور ( اس پر باہم ) بات چیت کرتے تو ہنسی مذاق بھی کرتے ، ( لیکن ) آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ( صرف ) مسکراتے تھے ۔
