عَن سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ: «أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The people say Abu Hurayrah narrates too many hadiths. Were it not for two verses in the Book of Allah, I would not have narrated a single hadith. Then he recited: "Those who conceal what We have sent down of clear proofs and guidance" until "the Oft-Returning." Indeed, our brothers from the Muhajirun were busy with trade in the markets, and our brothers from the Ansar were busy with their properties, but Abu Hurayrah stayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to satisfy his hunger, attending what they did not attend and memorizing what they did not memorize. Reported by al-Bukhari.
الترجمة الأردية
سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا:”آپ میرے لیے ایسے ہیں جیسے موسی ؑ کے لیے ہارون ؑ تھے، البتہ میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں۔“متفق علیہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6087]
