وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ أُمَّتِي قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِنَّ بَعْدَهُمْ قَوْمًا يَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ وَيَخُونُونَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ وَيَنْذُرُونَ وَلَا يفون وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ». وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَلَا يستحلفون». مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that his father said: We prayed Maghrib with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and then we said: "Let us sit and pray 'Isha with him." So we sat, and he came out to us and said: "Are you still here?" We said: "O Messenger of Allah, we prayed Maghrib with you, then we said we would sit and pray 'Isha with you." He said: "You have done well" or "You have done right." Then he raised his head toward the sky, and he used to raise his head toward the sky often, and he said: "The stars are a means of security for the sky. When the stars vanish, there will come to the sky what it has been promised. And I am a means of security for my Companions. When I depart, there will come to my Companions what they have been promised. And my Companions are a means of security for my ummah. When my Companions depart, there will come to my ummah what it has been promised." Reported by Muslim.
الترجمة الأردية
عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”میری امت کا سب سے بہترین زمانہ میرا زمانہ ہے، پھر ان لوگوں کا جو ان کے بعد آئیں گے، پھر وہ جو ان کے بعد آئیں گے، پھر ان کے بعد ایسے لوگ آئیں گے جو گواہی طلب کیے بغیر گواہی دیں گے، وہ خیانت کریں گے، اور ان پر اعتماد نہیں کیا جائے گا، وہ نذر مانیں گے لیکن پوری نہیں کریں گے، اور ان میں موٹاپا عام ہو جائے گا۔“ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے:”وہ حلف طلب کیے بغیر حلف اٹھائیں گے۔“متفق علیہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6010]
