وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فِي قُرَيْشٍ لَا يُعَادِيهِمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا كَبَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى وَجهه مَا أَقَامُوا الدّين». رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "My likeness among the prophets is like a man who built a house and completed it beautifully, except for the place of one brick. The people began going around it, admiring it, and saying: 'If only this brick were put in its place!' I am that brick, and I am the seal of the prophets." In another narration: "I am that brick. I have come and sealed the prophets." Agreed upon.
الترجمة الأردية
معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے:”یہ خلافت قریش میں رہے گی جب تک وہ دین کو قائم رکھیں گے، اور جو شخص ان کی مخالفت کرے گا اللہ اسے چہرے کے بل اوندھا کر کے ذلیل کر دے گا۔“رواہ البخاری۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 5982]
