Abdullah ibn Amr reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "There are two qualities — no Muslim servant maintains them except that he enters Paradise: they are easy, yet those who act upon them are few. Glorifying Allah (saying Subhan Allah) ten times after each prayer, praising Allah (saying al-Hamdu lillah) ten times, and magnifying Allah (saying Allahu Akbar) ten times. That is one hundred and fifty on the tongue and one thousand five hundred on the scale. When you go to bed, glorify Him thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times — that is one hundred on the tongue and one thousand on the scale. Who among you does two thousand five hundred bad deeds in a day and night?" He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, how is it that those who act upon them are few?" He said: "Satan comes to one of you during his prayer and says: 'Remember such-and-such, remember such-and-such,' until he turns away without having done it. And he comes to him on his bed and does not stop making him drowsy until he falls asleep." Narrated by Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nasa'i.
