عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: «إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ أَحْمَرَ وَلَا أَسْوَدَ إِلَّا أَنْ تفضلَه بتقوى». رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Urwah reported from A'ishah that she said to Urwah: "O son of my sister, we used to see three new moons in two months, and no fire was lit in any of the houses of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)." Urwah said: "What sustained you?" She said: "The two black things: dates and water. However, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had some neighbors from the Ansar who had milch animals, and they used to send some milk to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from their milk, and he would give us to drink." Agreed upon.
الترجمة الأردية
ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اسے فرمایا:”تم سرخ سے بہتر ہو نہ سیاہ سے، مگر یہ کہ تم اس سے تقویٰ کے ذریعے فضیلت حاصل کرو۔“سندہ ضعیف، رواہ احمد۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الرقاق/حدیث: 5198]
