وَعَن زيد بن أَرقم عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا وَعَدَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ وَمِنْ نِيَّتِهِ أَنْ يَفِيَ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَفِ وَلِمَ يَجِئْ لِلْمِيعَادِ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The fornication of the eyes is looking, the fornication of the ears is listening, the fornication of the tongue is speaking, the fornication of the hand is striking, the fornication of the foot is walking, the heart desires and wishes, and the private parts either confirm or deny all of that."
الترجمة الأردية
زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”جب آدمی وعدہ وفائی کی نیت سے اپنے بھائی سے کوئی وعدہ کر لیتا ہے لیکن اس سے وعدہ وفا نہیں ہوا اور نہ وہ وقت مقرر پر پہنچا تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں۔“اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ ابوداؤد۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الآداب/حدیث: 4881]
