وَفِي شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ عَنْهُ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِلَفْظِ المصابيح
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ibn ‘Abbas said that a wife of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) washed in a bowl, and when God’s messenger wanted to perform ablution from it she said, “I was defiled, messenger of God.” He replied, “Water does not become defiled.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah transmitted it, and Darimi has something similar. In Sharh as-sunna it is given from him from Hadrat Maimuna with the wording in al-Masabih.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ایک زوجہ مطہرہ نے ایک برتن سے غسل کیا، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس سے وضو کرنا چاہا تو انہوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں ناپاک تھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: پانی ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔ (ترمذی، ابو داؤد، ابن ماجہ؛ دارمی نے اسی مفہوم کی روایت بیان کی)
