وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ تَقُولُ كَسْرُ عَظْمِ الْمُسْلِمِ مَيْتًا كَكَسْرِهِ وَهُوَ حَىٌّ . تَعْنِي فِي الإِثْمِ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya (upon him be peace) related to me from Malik that he had heard that a'isha, the wife of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say, "Breaking the bone of a muslim when he is dead is like breaking it when he is alive." She meant if done in wrong action.
الترجمة الأردية
امام مالک کو یہ روایت پہنچی کہ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی تھیں: مسلمان کی ہڈی توڑنا مردہ ہونے کی حالت میں ایسا ہی ہے جیسا زندہ ہونے کی حالت میں توڑنا، یعنی گناہ میں۔
