935 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لَوْلاَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يَخْنَزِ اللَّحْمُ، وَلَوْلاَ حَوَّاءُ لَمْ تَخُنْ أُنْثَى زَوْجَهَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was sitting with his companions, a woman came and presented herself to him (for marriage). She stood for a long time, then a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, marry her to me if you have no need of her." The Prophet said: "Do you have anything to give her as a dowry?" He said: "I have nothing." The Prophet said: "Go and look, even if it be an iron ring." The man went, then returned and said: "I found nothing, not even an iron ring." The Prophet said: "Do you know anything of the Quran?" He said: "Yes, such-and-such surahs." The Prophet said: "I have married her to you for what you know of the Quran."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کیا کہ”اگر قوم بنی اسرائیل نہ ہوتی تو گوشت نہ سڑا کرتا اور اگر حوا نہ ہوتیں تو عورت اپنے شوہر سے دغا نہ کرتی۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الرضاع/حدیث: 935]
