1247 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي بِطَرِيقٍ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ، فَأَخَّرَهُ فَشَكَرَ اللهُ لَهُ، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ: الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسَةٌ: الْمَطْعُونُ وَالْمَبْطُونُ وَالْغَرِيقُ وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The example of what Allah has sent me with of guidance and knowledge is like abundant rain that fell on land. Some of it was fertile and absorbed the water, producing vegetation and grass in abundance. Some of it was hard and held the water, and Allah benefited the people through it - they drank, watered their animals, and irrigated. And some of it fell on barren land that neither held water nor produced vegetation. That is the example of one who gains understanding of the religion of Allah and benefits from what Allah sent me with, learning and teaching it, and the example of one who does not raise his head to it and does not accept the guidance of Allah with which I was sent."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ایک شخص کہیں جا رہا تھا، راستے میں اس نے کانٹوں کی بھری ہوئی ایک ٹہنی دیکھی، پس اسے راستے سے دور کر دیا، اللہ تعالیٰ (صرف اسی بات پر) راضی ہو گیا اور اس کی بخشش کر دی۔“پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”شہداء پانچ قسم کے ہوتے ہیں: طاعون میں مرنے والے، پیٹ کے عارضے (ہیضے وغیرہ) میں مرنے والے، اور ڈوب کر مرنے والے، اور جو دیوار وغیرہ کسی بھی چیز سے دب کر مر جائے اور خدا کے راستے میں (جہاد کرتے ہوئے) شہید ہونے والے۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الإمارة/حدیث: 1247]
