عَنِابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النَّمْلَةِ وَالنَّحْلَةِ وَالَهُدْهُدِ وَالصُّرَدِ".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever says 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' one hundred times in a day, it will be as if he freed ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, one hundred bad deeds will be erased, and it will be a protection for him from Satan on that day until evening. No one will have done better than him except one who did more."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ بے شک رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے چیونٹی، شہد کی مکھی، ہدہد اور لٹورے کو مارنے سے منع فرمایا۔[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 210]
