Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us from Ayyub from Muhammad from Abu Hurayra from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: 'If one of you prays and then sits in his place of prayer, the angels send blessings upon him, saying: O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, forgive him. And he remains in a state of prayer as long as he does not break his ablution.'
