أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ فِيكُمْ تَحْقِرُونَ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَ صَلَاتِهِمْ وَصِيَامَكُمْ مِنْ صِيَامِهِمْ وَعَمَلَكُمْ مَعَ عَمَلِهِمْ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ تَنْظُرُ فِي النَّصْلِ فَلَا تَرَى شَيْئًا وَتَنْظُرُ فِي الْقِدْحِ فَلَا تَرَى شَيْئًا وَتَنْظُرُ فِي الرِّيشِ فَلَا تَرَى شَيْئًا وَتَتَمَارَى فِي الْفُوقِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umar ibn Sa'id ibn Sinan informed us, Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr informed us from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith al-Taymi from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "There will emerge among you a people whose prayer you will consider insignificant compared to their prayer, and your fasting compared to their fasting, and your deeds compared to their deeds. They recite the Quran but it does not pass beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through game. You look at the arrowhead and see nothing, you look at the shaft and see nothing, you look at the feathers and see nothing, and you will be doubtful about the notch."
