أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَانِئٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ وَعَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ يَقُولَانِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ سَتَقْدِمُونَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ جَعْدٍ رُءُوسُهُمْ فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ قُوَّةٌ لَكُمْ وَبَلَاغٌ إِلَى عَدُوِّكُمْ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ» يَعْنِي قِبْطَ مِصْرَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna informed us, Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, Haywah narrated to us, Abu Hani' Humayd ibn Hani' narrated to us that he heard Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli and Amr ibn Hurayth say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "You will come to a people with curly hair, so treat them well, for they are strength for you and a means to reach your enemy, by the permission of Allah" - meaning the Copts of Egypt.
