أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ قُرْبَةً إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Yunus informed us, from Ibn Shihab, he said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab informed me, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every wound that a Muslim receives in the way of Allah will come on the Day of Resurrection as it was when it was inflicted - bleeding, its color the color of blood, but its fragrance the fragrance of musk.'
