Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us: Hudbah ibn Khalid narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, who said: Anas ibn Malik recited {Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar}, and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise that flows on the surface of the earth. Its banks are domes of pearls.' He ﷺ said: 'I struck it with my hand and its mud was the most fragrant musk, and its pebbles were pearls.'
