أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ لَئِنْ عِشْتُ لَأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَئِنْ عِشْتُ لَأَنْهَيَنَّ أَنْ يُسَمَّى بِرَبَاحٍ وَنَجِيحٍ وَأَفْلَحَ وَيَسَارٍ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Gabriel came to me and said: 'Indeed I came to you last night, and nothing prevented me from entering the house you were in except that there were statues of men at the door of the house, and there was a curtain with pictures hanging in the house, and there was a dog in the house. So command that the head of the statue be cut off so that it becomes like a tree, and command that the curtain be cut up and cushions made from it which will be trodden upon, and command that the dog be expelled from the house.'»
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: «جبریل میرے پاس آئے اور کہا: میں کل رات آپ کے پاس آیا تھا اور جس گھر میں آپ تھے اس میں داخل ہونے سے مجھے کوئی چیز نہیں روک سکی سوائے اس کے کہ گھر کے دروازے پر آدمیوں کے مجسمے تھے، اور گھر میں تصویروں والا پردہ لٹکا ہوا تھا، اور گھر میں کتا تھا۔ تو حکم دیں کہ مجسمے کا سر کاٹ دیا جائے تاکہ یہ درخت کی طرح ہو جائے، اور حکم دیں کہ پردہ کاٹ کر اس سے تکیے بنا دیے جائیں جن کو پامال کیا جائے، اور حکم دیں کہ کتے کو گھر سے نکال دیا جائے۔»
