أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بِدِمَشْقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ* قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْبَيَانُ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَالْعِيُّ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلَيْسَ الْبَيَانُ كَثْرَةَ الْكَلَامِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبَيَانَ الْفَصْلُ فِي الْحَقِّ وَلَيْسَ الْعِيُّ قِلَّةَ الْكَلَامِ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ سَفِهَ الْحَقَّ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Yahya ibn Abi Masarrah narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Salim ibn Abi al-Jadh narrated to us from Ayyub, from Abu al-Malih, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «Beware of disobedience that is considered minor, for indeed they will accumulate upon a person until they destroy him.» And indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave an example of them like the example of a people who camped in the wilderness. Then the time for their food came, so a man went and brought a stick, and another man went and brought a stick, until they gathered much of it and lit a fire, and whatever they threw into it, it cooked.
