اللهم غارت النجوم وهدأت العيون وأنت حي قيوم لا تأخذك سنة ولا نوم يا حي يا قيوم أهدىء ليلى وانى عيني
الترجمة الإنجليزية
"Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about insomnia, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught him this supplication: 'Allahumma gharat an-nujum wa hada'at al-uyun, wa anta Hayyun Qayyum, la ta'khudhuka sinatun wa la nawm, ya Hayyu ya Qayyum ahdi' layli wa anim ayni' (O Allah, the stars have set and the eyes have calmed, and You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, neither slumber nor sleep overtakes You. O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, calm my night and put my eyes to sleep)."
الترجمة الأردية
”حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے بےخوابی کی شکایت کی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں یہ دعا سکھائی:«اللهم غارت النجوم وهدأت العيون وأنت حي قيوم لا تأخذك سنة ولا نوم يا حي يا قيوم أهدىء ليلى وانى عيني»۔“[مجموعه ضعيف احاديث/حدیث: 1091]
