وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَقَالَ: هَلَكْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ. قَالَ: " وَمَا أَهْلَكَكَ ? " قَالَ: وَقَعْتُ عَلَى اِمْرَأَتِي فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَ: " هَلْ تَجِدُ مَا تَعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً? " قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: " فَهَلْ تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تَصُومَ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ? " قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: " فَهَلْ تَجِدُ مَا تُطْعِمُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا? " قَالَ: لَا, ثُمَّ جَلَسَ, فَأُتِي اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِعَرَقٍ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ. فَقَالَ: " تَصَدَّقْ بِهَذَا ", فَقَالَ: أَعَلَى أَفْقَرَ مِنَّا? فَمَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ أَحْوَجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَّا, فَضَحِكَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -حَتَّى بَدَتْ أَنْيَابُهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: "اذْهَبْ فَأَطْعِمْهُ أَهْلَكَ " } رَوَاهُ اَلسَّبْعَةُ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُسْلِمٍ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1936 )، ومسلم ( 1111 )، وأبو داود ( 2390 )، والنسائي في " الكبرى " ( 2 / 212 - 213 )، والترمذي ( 724 )، وابن ماجه ( 1671 )، وأحمد ( 2 / 208 و 241 و 281 و 516 ).

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that a man came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said, “l am ruined O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)!" The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) inquired him, “What has ruined you?" The man replied, ‘I had intercourse with my wife during the day in Ramadan while fasting)’ The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to him, "Are you able to free a slave?" The man said, ‘No.’ The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Can you fast for two consecutive months?" He said, ‘NO.' The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then asked him, "Can you provide food for sixty poor people?" He said, ‘No.’ Then the man sat down. A basket of dates was brought to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he said to the man, “Give this as Sadaqah (voluntary charity)” The man said, ‘To someone who is poorer than us!’ There is no one in this city (Al-Madinah) who is in need of these dates more than us!’ The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) laughed until his molar teeth could be seen and said to the man, “Go and feed your family with these dates.” Related by the seven Imams and the wording is from Muslim.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں ہلاک ہو گیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا ہوا؟ اس نے کہا: میں نے رمضان میں اپنی بیوی سے صحبت کر لی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تم ایک غلام آزاد کر سکتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں۔ فرمایا: کیا تم لگاتار دو مہینے روزے رکھ سکتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں۔ فرمایا: کیا تم ساٹھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلا سکتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں۔ پھر ایک ٹوکری کھجوریں لائی گئیں، آپ نے فرمایا: اسے صدقہ کر دو۔ اس نے عرض کیا: کیا ہم سے زیادہ ضرورت مند کوئی ہے؟ مدینے کے دو پتھریلے میدانوں کے درمیان ہم سے زیادہ محتاج کوئی گھرانہ نہیں ہے۔ آپ ہنس پڑے یہاں تک کہ آپ کے دندان مبارک نظر آئے اور فرمایا: جاؤ اسے اپنے گھر والوں کو کھلا دو۔ (متفق علیہ)
