وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِوٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَسْتَأْذِنُهُ فِي اَلْجِهَادِ. فَقَالَ: " حَيٌّ وَالِدَاكَ?" , قَالَ: نَعَمْ: قَالَ: " فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ" } . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .1 - صحيح رواه البخاري ( 3004 )، ومسلم ( 2549 ).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RAA) narrated ‘A man came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asking his permission to go out for Jihad. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) inquired him, “Are your parents alive?” He replied, ‘Yes.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then said to him, “Then your Jihad would be with them (i.e. in looking after them and being at their service.).” Agreed upon.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور جہاد کی اجازت چاہی۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: "کیا تمہارے ماں باپ زندہ ہیں؟" اس نے عرض کیا: ہاں۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: "پھر انہی کی خدمت میں جہاد کرو"۔ متفق علیہ۔
