Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I was given victory through the east wind (al-saba), and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by the west wind (al-dabur)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”بادصبا (یعنی مشرقی ہوا) کے ذریعہ میری مدد کی گئی اور (قوم) عاد، مغربی ہوا سے برباد کی گئی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 558]
