Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When the verse "Those who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice" (Al-An'am: 82) was revealed, the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) became alarmed and said, "Who among us has not committed injustice?" Then Allah the Exalted revealed: "Indeed, associating partners with Allah is a great injustice" (Luqman: 13).
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ”جب یہ آیت کہ جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انھوں نے اپنے ایمان کو ظلم کے ساتھ خلط ملط نہیں کیا۔“(الانعام: 82) نازل ہوئی تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے اصحاب (بہت گھبرائے اور) کہنے لگے کہ ہم میں سے کون ایسا ہے جس نے ظلم نہیں کیا؟ تو اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے یہ آیت”یقیناً شرک بہت بڑا ظلم ہے“۔ (لقمان: 13) نازل فرمائی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 30]
