Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): He swore an oath that Ibn Sa'idah was the Dajjal. I (the narrator Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir) said, "You swear to it?" He said, "Yes! I heard Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) swear to this in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not forbid him."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نےقسم کھائی کہ ابن صائدہ دجال ہے۔ میں (راوی محمد بن منکدر) نے کہا کہ تم قسم کھاتے ہو؟ انھوں نے کہا ہاں! میں نے سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے اس بات پر قسم کھاتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔ اور نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کو منع نہیں فرمایا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2219]
