Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "If the son of Adam were given two more valleys full of wealth, he would still seek a third (out of greed). Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. And whoever turns to Allah, Allah turns to him in mercy."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا:”اگر بنی آدم کو دو اور وادیاں مال و دولت سے بھری ہوئی بھی مل جائیں تو یہ تیسری کی تلاش (حرص) میں رہے گا اور اولاد آدم کا پیٹ تو مٹی ہی بھرتی ہے اور جو اللہ کی طرف جھکتا ہے تو اللہ بھی اس پر مہربان ہوتا ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2100]
