The Mother of the Believers, Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded me, or (she related it thus, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him) commanded: "Ruqyah may be performed for the evil eye (and it is permissible)."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ کو حکم دیا یا (آپ نے اس طرح بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے) حکم فرمایا:”نظر بد کا دم کیا جائے (تو جائز ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1974]
