Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The adulterer does not remain a believer at the very time he commits adultery, and the wine-drinker does not remain a believer at the very time he drinks, and the thief does not remain a believer at the very time he steals."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”زانی (عین) زنا کرتے وقت مومن نہیں رہتا اور شراب پینے والا (بھی عین) پینے کے وقت مومن نہیں رہتا اور چور (بھی عین) چوری کرتے وقت مومن نہیں رہتا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1931]
