Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "When Allah the Exalted decrees a command in the heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His command, like a chain (dragged) over a smooth rock, which produces a sound. When the state of fear leaves their hearts, one asks another, 'What did your Lord command?' The other says, 'Whatever He commanded is the truth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.' The eavesdroppers (the devils) who steal these words also hear the speech of the angels, and they are stacked one above another (from the earth up to the heaven). Sometimes it happens that the angels, becoming aware, hurl a flame of fire which burns the one listening before he can pass the word to the one beneath him, and sometimes it happens that the flame does not reach him, and he passes the word to the one beneath him (the devil), (who passes it to the one below him), and thus they convey the word down to the earth, or it reaches the earth. Then that word is put into the mouth of the soothsayer, who mixes it with a hundred lies and relates it to people. Some word of his turns out true, so people say, 'Look, this soothsayer told us on such-and-such a day that such-and-such would happen, and it happened just so; his word came true.' And this (true word) is the one that was stolen from the heaven."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب اللہ تعالیٰ آسمانوں میں احکام صادر فرماتا ہے تو فرشتے اس کے حکم پر عاجزی سے اپنے پر مارنے لگتے ہیں، جیسے کہ زنجیر صاف پتھر پر چلاؤ تو آواز آتی ہے۔ جب ان فرشتوں کے دلوں سے خوف کی حالت جاتی رہتی ہے تو ایک دوسرے سے کہتا ہے کہ پروردگار نے کیا حکم فرمایا؟ دوسرا کہتا ہے جو کچھ فرمایا حق ہے اور وہ بڑا بلند و برتر ہے۔ فرشتوں کی یہ باتیں چوری سے بات اڑانے والے (شیطان) بھی سن لیتے ہیں اور وہ (زمین سے آسمان تک) اوپر تلے ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر کبھی ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ فرشتے خبر پا کر آگ کا شعلہ پھینکتے ہیں، وہ بات سننے والے کو اس سے پہلے جلا دیتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے نیچے والے کو بات پہنچائے اور کبھی ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ وہ شعلہ اس تک نہیں پہنچتا اور وہ اپنے نیچے والے (شیطان) کو وہ بات پہنچا دیتا ہے (وہ اس سے نیچے والے کو) اس طرح وہ بات زمین تک پہنچا دیتے ہیں یا زمین تک آ پہنچتی ہے۔ پھر وہ بات نجومی کے منہ پر ڈالی جاتی ہے پھر وہ اس میں سو جھوٹ ملا کر لوگوں سے بیان کرتا ہے۔ کوئی کوئی بات اس کی سچ نکلتی ہے تو لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ دیکھو اس نجومی نے ہمیں فلاں دن یہ خبر دی تھی کہ آئندہ ایسا ایسا ہو گا اور ویسا ہی ہوا، اس کی بات سچ نکلی اور یہ (سچی بات) وہ ہوتی ہے جو (براہ راست) آسمان سے چرائی گئی تھی۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1749]
