It is narrated by Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) from his maternal aunt Hadrat Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be well pleased with her) who stated: One day the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) slept near me, then woke up smiling. I submitted: What made you smile? He stated: "Some people of my Ummah were presented before me, riding upon this green sea, like kings upon thrones." She submitted: Supplicate to Allah that He makes me one of them. He supplicated for her, then fell asleep a second time and did the same; she said the same as before and he responded likewise. She submitted: Supplicate to Allah that He makes me one of them. He stated: "You are among the first ones." She then set out with her husband Hadrat Ubada bin al-Samit (may Allah be well pleased with him) as a warrior, the first time the Muslims sailed upon the sea with Hadrat Mu'awiya (may Allah be well pleased with him). When they returned from the expedition and landed in Syria, a mount was brought to her for riding, but it threw her and she passed away.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اپنی خالہ حضرت اُمّ حرام بنت ملحان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: ایک دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میرے قریب سوئے، پھر مسکراتے ہوئے بیدار ہوئے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: آپ کو کس چیز نے ہنسایا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: "میری امت کے کچھ لوگ میرے سامنے پیش کیے گئے جو اس سبز سمندر پر سوار تھے، تختوں پر بادشاہوں کی طرح۔" انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ سے دعا فرمائیے کہ مجھے ان میں سے بنا دے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کے لیے دعا فرمائی۔ پھر دوسری بار سوئے اور پھر ایسا ہی ہوا، انہوں نے بھی ویسا ہی عرض کیا اور آپ نے بھی ویسا ہی جواب دیا۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ سے دعا فرمائیے کہ مجھے ان میں سے بنا دے۔ ارشاد فرمایا: "تم پہلے والوں میں سے ہو۔" پھر وہ اپنے شوہر حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے ساتھ غزوہ کے لیے نکلیں جب مسلمانوں نے حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے ساتھ پہلی بار سمندری سفر کیا۔ جب غزوے سے واپسی ہوئی اور شام میں اترے تو ان کے لیے سواری لائی گئی تاکہ وہ اس پر سوار ہوں مگر سواری نے انہیں گرا دیا اور وہ وفات پا گئیں۔
