حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ " فُوَيْسِقٌ ". وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her), the noble wife of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called the lizard (gecko) 'Fuwaisiq' (a harmful creature), but I did not hear him command that it be killed.
الترجمة الأردية
نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زوجۂ مطہرہ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے چھپکلی کو «فويسق» (موذی) ارشاد فرمایا تھا، لیکن میں نے آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اسے مارنے کا حکم نہیں سنا۔
