حدثنا إبراهيم بن المستمر العروقي قالَ حَدَّثَنا الفضل بن وثيق قالَ حَدَّثَنا أبو عباد شيخ من أهل المدينة عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة رضي الله عنها أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لجابر ألا أبشرك قال بشرك الله بالخير قال أشعرت أن الله أحيا أباك فقال عبدي تمن علي ما شئت أعطيكه قال فقال يا رب أتمنى عليك أن تردني فأقتل مرة أخرى قال إنه قد سبق مني أنك إليها لا ترجعوهذا الحديث لا نعلمه يُرْوَى عن عائشة رضي الله عنها إِلا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَلا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن الزهري إلا أبو عباد وأبو عباد حدث عنه أبو داود والقاسم بن الحكم والفضل بن وثيق
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to Jabir: «Shall I not give you glad tidings?» He said: May Allah give you glad tidings of goodness. He stated: «Did you know that Allah revived your father and said: 'O My servant, wish from Me what you will and I shall give it to you'? So he said: O my Lord, I wish from You that You return me so that I may be killed a second time. He stated: 'It has preceded from Me that you shall not return to it.'» This hadith is not known to be narrated from Aishah except from this chain, and we know of no one who narrated it from az-Zuhri except Abu Abbad. Abu Abbad was narrated from by Abu Dawud, al-Qasim ibn al-Hakam, and al-Fadl ibn Wathiq.
