حدثنا رجل من أصحابنا عن زيد بن الحباب قال حدثني حميد مولى بني علقمة عن عَطَاء بن أبي رَبَاح عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قال بينما النبي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جالس وأبو بَكْر رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وابن مسعود ومعاذ بن جبل ونعيم بن سلامة إذ قدم بريد على النبي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ من بعث بعثه فقال أبو بَكْر رضي الله عنه يا رسول الله ما رأيت بعثا أسرع إيابا ولا أكثر مغنما من هؤلاء فقال النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا بكر ألا أدلك على ما هو أسرع إيابا وأفضل مغنما من صلى الغداة في جماعة ثم ذكر الله حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن عطاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا حميد وحميد هذا لا نعلم أحدا شاركه في هذه الأحاديث عطاء عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه
الترجمة الإنجليزية
A man from our companions narrated to us, from Zaid ibn al-Hubab who stated: Humaid, the freed slave of Bani Alqamah, narrated to me, from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: While the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was sitting with Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him), Ibn Mas'ud, Mu'adh ibn Jabal, and Nu'aim ibn Salamah, a messenger arrived to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) from an expedition he had sent. Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I have never seen an expedition return faster or bring more spoils than these. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «O Abu Bakr, shall I not guide you to what returns faster and has better spoils? Whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation, then remembers Allah until the sun rises.» This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it from Ata' from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Humaid. And Humaid — we do not know anyone who shared with him in these hadiths from Ata' from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him).
