حدثنا عمار بن خالد حَدَّثَنا يحيى بن سعيد الأموي قال حدثنا الحجاج بن أرطاة عن عَطَاء عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لا تقدموا الشهر صوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته أحسبه قال فإن غم عليكم فأكملوا العدةوهذا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن الحجاج عن عَطَاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا يحيى بن سعيد الأموي
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ammar ibn Khalid narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Umawi narrated to us, he stated: al-Hajjaj ibn Artah narrated to us, from Ata', from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Do not anticipate the month. Fast upon sighting it (the crescent) and break your fast upon sighting it.» I believe he stated: «If it is obscured from you, then complete the count.» This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it from al-Hajjaj from Ata' from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Umawi.
