حدثنا زِياد بن يحيى الحساني حَدَّثَنا مالك بن سعير حَدَّثَنا الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إنما بعثت رحمة مهداةوهذا الحديثُ لا نعلم أحدا وصله عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا مالك بن سعير وغيره يرسله فلا يقول عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إنما يقول عن أبي صالح عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ziyad ibn Yahya al-Hassani narrated to us, Malik ibn Su'air narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «I was sent only as a bestowed mercy.» This hadith — we do not know anyone who connected it from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Malik ibn Su'air. Others narrate it as mursal without mentioning Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), saying only: from Abu Salih, from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
