الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed the Isha prayer one night until a third of the night had passed. Then he came while there was a thinness in the number of people, and they were in separate circles. He became angry and said: 'If a man were to invite people to a bone or two lean animals, they would respond, yet they lag behind this prayer. I have considered ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, then ordering those who lag behind this prayer to have their homes burned down upon them with fire.' This hadith was narrated by Asim, and both Hammad and Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated it from him, but Hammad has better wording. Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Asim ibn Bahdalah from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah.
