حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الأعلى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَمْرو عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لا إله إلاَّ الله فإذا قالوا لا إله إلاَّ الله فقد عصموا مني دمائهم وأموالهم إلاَّ بحقها وحسابهم على الله اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لا إله إلاَّ الله فإذا قالوا لا إله إلاَّ الله فقد عصموا مني دمائهم وأموالهم إلاَّ بحقها وحسابهم على الله

Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A'la narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «I have been commanded to fight the people until they say 'There is no god but Allah.' When they say 'There is no god but Allah,' they have protected their blood and their wealth from me, except by its right, and their reckoning is with Allah.»
