حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الأعلى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَمْرو عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من جر ثوبه مِنَ الْخُيَلاءِ لَمْ يَنْظِرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ القيامة قال فمر رجل من قريش يجر سبله فقال يا ابن أخي أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يقول من جر ثوبه خيلاء لم ينظر الله إليه يوم القيامة فقال وقد سمعنا ما تقول ثُمَّ مر به ثانية فقال له مثل ذلك فقال قد سمعنا ما تقول لئن عدت لأحملنك على عاتقي فلأنكبن بك الأرض قال أَبُو هُرَيرة ولاَ أعود من جر ثوبه مِنَ الْخُيَلاءِ لَمْ يَنْظِرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ القيامة قال فمر رجل من قريش يجر سبله فقال يا ابن أخي أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يقول من جر ثوبه خيلاء لم ينظر الله إليه يوم القيامة فقال وقد سمعنا ما تقول ثُمَّ مر به ثانية فقال له مثل ذلك فقال قد سمعنا ما تقول لئن عدت لأحملنك على عاتقي فلأنكبن بك الأرض قال أَبُو هُرَيرة ولاَ أعود
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A'la narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.» He said: A man from Quraysh passed by dragging his garment. Abu Hurairah said: "O nephew, I have heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'" The man said: "We have heard what you say." Then he passed by a second time and Abu Hurairah said the same to him. The man replied: "We have heard what you say. If you say it again, I will carry you on my shoulder and throw you to the ground." Abu Hurairah said: "I will not repeat it again."
