Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them) narrated: When the Emigrants came to Madinah, they would give inheritance through alliance rather than lineage. Then this verse was revealed: 'And blood relatives are more entitled to (inherit from) one another.' This hadith - we do not know of anyone who narrated it except Talhah ibn Musarrif from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Ibn Abbas, and we do not know of anyone who narrated it from him except Idris.
