حَدَّثنا نصر بن علي قَال حَدَّثنا سُفيان بْنُ عُيَيْنة عَنْ عَمْرو عَن عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ إِذَا أَكَلَ طَعَامًا لَعِقَ أَصَابِعَهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ وَهَذَا الإِسْنَادُ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ إِسْنَادٍ يُرْوَى فِي ذَلِكَ إِذَا أَكَلَ طَعَامًا لَعِقَ أَصَابِعَهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ وَهَذَا الإِسْنَادُ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ إِسْنَادٍ يُرْوَى فِي ذَلِكَ

Nasr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Amr, from Ata, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he ate food, used to lick his fingers. This hadith has been narrated from the Prophet from more than one route, and this chain is among the best chains narrated in that regard.
