وحَدَّثنا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنْ عَبَّادٍ عَن عِكْرِمة عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وكسب الأمة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وكسب الأمة

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the sale of food before taking possession of it.
