عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ يَسْتَفْتِيهِ فِي أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ آمُرُ بِهِ ولاَ أَنْهَى عَنْهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ يَسْتَفْتِيهِ فِي أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ آمُرُ بِهِ ولاَ أَنْهَى عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ يَسْتَفْتِيهِ فِي أَكْلِ الضَّبِ فَقَالَ «لَسْتُ آمِرًا بِهِ وَلَا نَاهِيًا عَنْهُ أَحَدًا غَيْرَ أَنَّا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَسْنَا طَاعِمِيهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
With the same chain from Samurah from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): A man came to him asking about eating the lizard (dabb), and he said: 'I neither command it nor forbid it,' (adding in another narration: 'except that we, the family of Muhammad, do not eat it').
