وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَسْتَعْتِبُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ لِيَنْظُرَ مَنْ يَخَافُهُ وَمَنْ يَذْكُرُهُ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَافْزَعِوا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ فَاذْكُرُوهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن سَمُرة إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ولاَ يُرْوَى هَذَا اللَّفْظُ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَسْتَعْتِبُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ لِيَنْظُرَ مَنْ يَخَافُهُ وَمَنْ يَذْكُرُهُ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَافْزَعِوا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ فَاذْكُرُوهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن سَمُرة إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ولاَ يُرْوَى هَذَا اللَّفْظُ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
With the same chain: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: 'The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death of anyone among you; rather they are two signs among the signs of Allah by which He admonishes His servants, to see who fears Him and who remembers Him. When you see that, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and remember Him.' This hadith, we do not know it narrated from Samurah except with this chain, and this wording is not known from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) except through this route.
