حَدَّثنا إبراهيم بن سَعِيد قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بْنُ حُجْر قَالَ حَدَّثني سَعِيد بْنُ عَبد الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر عَن أَبيهِ عَن أُمِّهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَلَغَنَا ظُهُورُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَنَحْنُ فِي مُلْكٍ عَظِيمٍ وَطَاعَةٍ فَرَفَضْتُهُ وَخَرَجْتُ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ قَدْ بَشَّرَهُمْ بِقُدُومِي فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ رَدَّ عَلَيَّ وَبَسَطَ لِي رِدَاءَهُ وَ��َجْلَسَنِي عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ مِنْبَرَهُ وَأَقْعَدَنِي مَعَهُ فَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَصَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّينَ وَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَذَا وَائِلُ بْنُ حُجْر قَدْ أَتَاكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضٍ بَعِيدَةٍ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ طَائِعًا غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَفِي دِينِهِ بَقِيَّةُ أَبْنَاءِ الْمُلُوكِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ مَا هُوَ إلاَّ أَنْ بَلَغَنَا ظُهُورُكَ وَنَحْنُ فِي مُلْكٍ عَظِيمٍ وَطَاعَةٍ عَظِيمَةٍ فَأَتَيْتُكَ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَفِي رَسُولِهِ وَفِي دِينِهِ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَنَحْنُ فِي مُلْكٍ عَظِيمٍ وَطَاعَةٍ فَرَفَضْتُهُ وَخَرَجْتُ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ قَدْ بَشَّرَهُمْ بِقُدُومِي فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ رَدَّ عَلَيَّ وَبَسَطَ لِي رِدَاءَهُ وَأَجْلَسَنِي عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ مِنْبَرَهُ وَأَقْعَدَنِي مَعَهُ فَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَصَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّينَ وَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَذَا وَائِلُ بْنُ حُجْر قَدْ أَتَاكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضٍ بَعِيدَةٍ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ طَائِعًا غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَفِي دِينِهِ بَقِيَّةُ أَبْنَاءِ الْمُلُوكِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ مَا هُوَ إلاَّ أَنْ بَلَغَنَا ظُهُورُكَ وَنَحْنُ فِي مُلْكٍ عَظِيمٍ وَطَاعَةٍ عَظِيمَةٍ فَأَتَيْتُكَ رَاغِبًا فِي اللَّهِ وَفِي رَسُولِهِ وَفِي دِينِهِ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibrahim ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Hujr narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il ibn Hujr narrated to me from his father from his mother from Wa'il ibn Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: News of the appearance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached us while we were in great kingship and authority, so I abandoned it and set out with longing for Allah and His Messenger. When I arrived before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he had already given them glad tidings of my arrival. When I came to him and greeted him, he returned the greeting, spread his cloak for me and seated me on it. Then he ascended his pulpit and sat me with him. He raised his hand, praised Allah and extolled Him, and sent blessings upon the Prophets. The people gathered around him, and he said to them: "O people, this is Wa'il ibn Hujr who has come to you from a distant land, from Hadramawt, willingly and not by compulsion, with longing for Allah and His Messenger and His religion - a remnant of the sons of kings." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, it is nothing but that news of your appearance reached us while we were in great kingship and great authority, and I came to you with longing for Allah, His Messenger, and His religion." He said: "You have spoken the truth."
